  • INCENTIVE ELIGIBLE? YES! Any team traveling more than 100 miles receives a $100 incentive. Register your teams by 10/1/2023 to qualify!

  • WHEN TO REGISTER? Register 9/19 at 8AM EST!

  • REFUNDS? If your division hasn't filled, we will give full refunds if requested on or before December 26, 2023. If you withdraw your team from the tournament after their division has filled, we will not refund your registration fee.

HOTEL ROOMS

Accommodation won’t be a problem at ‘Bama Beast. Within walking distance of the facility, there are 2 hotels which combine to offer over 1,000 rooms. Looking for the best rate available? Birmingham offers dozens of other hotels within a 10 minute drive of the BJCC.

BJCC’S UPTOWN DISTRICT

It’s a pain to try to navigate your way through an unfamiliar city by car. At the BJCC, you won’t have to worry about that. BJCC is located in Birmingham’s “Uptown District”, which is filled with restaurants, hotels, and places to grab a coffee or quick bite.

CONVENTION CENTER

It’s always nice to have all of your teams, players, and parents in the same place on tournament day. That’s what you get at ‘Bama Beast-a convention center tournament with the capacity to hold 18 courts all under one roof.

 

See everything, “The Dinner Table of the South”, has to offer.

  • Foodies.

    The BJCC lies within the “Uptown District” which offers six great restaurants (in walking distance) all with their own spin on cuisine. Or venture out further to see what all the “food buzz” in Birmingham is about.

  • The Venue.

    The BJCC has 2 halls, each with the capacity to hold 14 courts. That means all coaches, parents, and players under one roof at the same time.

  • Outdoors.

    Need some fresh air? Birmingham has several parks within a fifteen minute drive of the volleyball tournament. Or you can venture out to Oak Mountain State Park for some serious hiking.

  • Shopping.

    A 10-15 minute drive from the BJCC will bring you to The Summit, a 1 million square foot shopping complex. Or if you’re looking for the perfect, sylish outfit, find your way into one of the many Birmingham boutiques.

  • History.

    Explore Birmingham’s roots through the iron age by taking a visit to Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark, a 32-acre blast furnace plant where iron was made for nearly 100 years!
