Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex is one of the premiere convention center facilities in the southeast.

Accommodation won’t be a problem at ‘Bama Beast. Within walking distance of the facility, there are 2 hotels which combine to offer over 1,000 rooms. Looking for the best rate available? Birmingham offers dozens of other hotels within a 10 minute drive of the BJCC.
BJCC’S UPTOWN DISTRICT
It’s a pain to try to navigate your way through an unfamiliar city by car. At the BJCC, you won’t have to worry about that. BJCC is located in Birmingham’s “Uptown District”, which is filled with restaurants, hotels, and places to grab a coffee or quick bite.

It’s always nice to have all of your teams, players, and parents in the same place on tournament day. That’s what you get at ‘Bama Beast-a convention center tournament with the capacity to hold 20 courts all under one roof.

The BJCC lies within the “Uptown District” which offers six great restaurants (in walking distance) all with their own spin on cuisine. Or venture out further to see what all the “food buzz” in Birmingham is about.

The BJCC has 2 halls, with a total capacity to hold 20 courts. That means all coaches, parents, and players under one roof at the same time.

Need some fresh air? Birmingham has several parks within a fifteen minute drive of the volleyball tournament. Or you can venture out to Oak Mountain State Park for some serious hiking.

History.
Explore Birmingham’s roots through the iron age by taking a visit to Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark, a 32-acre blast furnace plant where iron was made for nearly 100 years!
